Today we received a few copies of The Knot Northern California Fall/Winter issue, in which Sarah and Jason’s gorgeous Napa Valley wedding has a two-page Real Wedding feature! This issue has a special wine country section that we’re so happy to be a part of.

Sarah and Jason’s wedding at Chappellet Winery in St. Helena, CA, was a very intimate, mostly DIY affair, which came together with the help of the couple’s dear friends and of course their own talents as a chef and sommelier.

Our post about Meghan and Charles’ stunning Hand Crafted Elegant Album was such a hit I had to share this one of Marlene and Richard’s beautiful, simple, 111 image Digital Layout Custom Album:

Marlene and Richard chose to keep their album clean, bright and simple, opting for an ivory leather cover with only their names and wedding date in embossed black on the lower right corner of the front cover. It looks pretty classy!

Lindsey and Muki’s wedding day began with a beautiful, traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Lindsey looked gorgeous in her red silk dress!

The Knot is featuring a detail shot from Laura and Jeff’s San Francisco wedding on their home page (today only) and blog. While it’s not exactly an amazing photograph (I admit), it is cool that our friends Laura and Jeff are being recognized for their creativity! Check it out:

Once again, they’ve beat us to it… we haven’t blogged Laura and Jeff’s wedding yet. It was an awesome, truly unique, three day affair and we’ll have to show you more very soon.

Adam had the opportunity to shoot this gorgeous wedding back in September. It was by fate that this came together. The bride, Sarah, contacted us only 2 weeks before her wedding hoping Adam would be available. It just so happened that was the only weekend Adam had available for 3 months. Just one week before Sarah and Jason’s wedding, Adam was booking his plane ticket to Napa Valley. And, it was a beautiful wedding in a perfect location. The wedding took place at Chappelett Vineyard in Napa Valley. The setting was straight out of a movie with a breathtaking sunset and all. The reception was perfect as well. Sarah is a chef and Jason is a sommelier. What could be better for a Napa wedding?

Wow! It has been awhile since we have had a blog post! So we are going to try to catch up on all the weddings and engagement sessions from this past year that we haven’t had the time to post yet. There is A LOT of amazing stuff we still want to share.

So, we are getting started with an engagement session that Adam shot in Old Sacramento this past April. Kristin and Brad were married in June and really wanted to get some portraits before that (check out their wedding photography). Kristin choose a great location in Old Sacramento. There were so many interesting places to shoot. I really loved this engagement session. Hope you enjoy it too!
