Wow! When Kristen and Boaz’s Modern Album came in from production we fell in love with it. As usual, we wish it was ours to keep as a sample. But, I figured I should let them have their album. =) So, a video will have to be good enough.

These Modern albums are incredible. Seeing them in person is the best way to understand how much hand-crafted detail goes into creating one, but you’ll get a good feel for the impeccable design and absolutely unique features from this video:

We’re excited that our friends at The Wedding Yentas are featuring Kristen and Boaz’s Pasadena wedding photography on their blog. It’s no secret that writing isn’t my blogging strength, but The Wedding Yentas wrote a nice piece about the wedding. Check it out!

It’s such a privilege, and so much fun, to photograph weddings for friends. Though it had been quite a few years since Andrew and I had seen each other, our history of playing soccer together at Agoura High School made the job of photographing his marriage to Michelle that much more special.

Michelle and Andrew prepared for their wedding at the amazing Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara, California, where we also photographed the bridal party.

The wedding ceremony took place at an equally breathtaking private residence, with an ocean view, in the exclusive Hope Ranch neighborhood, on Santa Barbara’s mesa.

For the reception, we jumped over to the nearby Events by Stella Mare’s, where Michelle, Andrew, their family and friends had a great time partying on the dance floor and enjoying excellent food.

Michelle and Andrew, thanks again for the honor of photographing your wedding. I wish you both many years of happiness, health and blessings!

Adam shot Miko and Eli’s wedding at the Admiral Kidd Club in Point Loma. It was an absolutely perfect day to celebrate their joyous wedding with family and friends who came from all over the world to be with them. Don’t you just love their ceremony pictures? What a fantastic view of Downtown San Diego! Congratulations Miko and Eli.

So, almost a year ago to the day we posted Mika and Shane’s Japanese Tea Ceremony in Los Angeles. We are finally sharing their beautiful Orange County Wedding at the Pacific Edge Villa in Laguna Beach. Mika is one of the sweetest brides we have ever been lucky enough to know. So, we are so excited to finally show some of our favorite images from her and Shane’s beach wedding. Enjoy!

Laura and Ted exited their ceremony to guests throwing paper airplanes instead of rice. It was such a cool idea! We love that The Knot is featuring this great wedding ceremony exit idea on their Wedding Obsessions blog.

The weekend before last, we photographed The Platinum Ball at Cal State University San Marcos, celebrating their 20th anniversary, for Shannon Events of Los Angeles. Shannon is an incredible event planner as you’ll see in the slideshow below. In terms of entertainment, the Martini Kings performed their live music, stilt-walkers in angel costumes paraded around, a pianist provided a great soundtrack in the “Black Box” lounge, and gymanist/dancers put on an impressive display of flexibility and balance. The food was incredible, and being a photographer, I was truly impressed by the lighting. Check it out:

The wedding was a few years ago, but more importantly, this album will be with Nicole and Keith, and their families, for many, many more years. I’m so glad we were able to make this great album for them!

Wendy and Aaron live in Arizona, but will be getting married this fall at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California. They recently came out for a visit when I shot their engagement portraits at Venice Beach, CA. We had an awesome time exploring and highlighting the uniqueness that Venice offers. I have a lot of good words for this shoot, but one word sums it up pretty well: COLOR.
