The weekend before last, we photographed The Platinum Ball at Cal State University San Marcos, celebrating their 20th anniversary, for Shannon Events of Los Angeles. Shannon is an incredible event planner as you’ll see in the slideshow below. In terms of entertainment, the Martini Kings performed their live music, stilt-walkers in angel costumes paraded around, a pianist provided a great soundtrack in the “Black Box” lounge, and gymanist/dancers put on an impressive display of flexibility and balance. The food was incredible, and being a photographer, I was truly impressed by the lighting. Check it out:

Since our YouTube page had been sitting around doing nothing for a couple of years, we decided to completely start over and update our page with a bunch of fun, new slideshows. There are a lot of Engagement Sessions on there as well as some Senior Portrait shoots. We also have some Family Portraits and a few Wedding slideshows (with much more to come!). I was invited by my friends at Event Solutions to photograph their Client Appreciation Party and services showcase.  It was a great party, with very cool decor, delicious food and lots of really good people.  It’s amazing what they did with their parking lot and offices!  Here’s a fun slideshow video I put together for them:
