R & R celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Riviera Country Club<\/a> in Pacific Palisades, California. As wedding photographers, Riviera Country Club is a place we love to work, especially with a sweet couple like these two. The bride and I went to high school together, and seeing her all this time later, looking absolutely stunning on her wedding day, made their wedding that much more fun to photograph.<\/p>\n

You might recognize one of the photographs from this wedding as a winner of our 2012 Year In Review Contest<\/a>. It was the most voted wedding photograph of 2012. And, for very good reason. This image of the bride<\/a> that was our 3rd Place winner is just stunning. So, we are very excited to now be sharing their entire wedding!<\/p>\n

It’s such a blessing to be able to capture authentic moments of pure joy like in the photograph above. While I wouldn’t call our style of photography wedding photojournalism, documenting the real moments throughout a wedding in a journalistic fashion, is absolutely an important aspect of what we do. This is one of my favorite photographs from their wedding.<\/p>\n

R&R invited president Obama to their wedding. To their complete surprise, he was unable to attend. ;) But, they did get this card in response:<\/p>\n

R & R had a Baha’i wedding ceremony, which was very simple and meaningful, with prayers and poetry read by close friends and family.<\/p>\n

The wedding reception was held in Riviera Country Club’s gorgeous Crystal Ballroom, known for its many arched windows, spectacular views of the coastline, and stunning chandeliers. We love photographing receptions in this room, and it can also serve as a great location for elegant portraits.<\/p>\n
