Our client told his girlfriend that he needed to travel to Los Angeles for a work trip and that he'd like her to join him so they could also celebrate their dating anniversary. When they checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel, he introduced her to me in the lobby and told her that he had hired me for a portrait shoot as an anniversary gift. She didn't know it at the time, but he planned to propose marriage at the end of the shoot, under the iconic lamp post installation at LACMA, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
