Elegant, romantic and modern are a few words that come to mind when describing Erica and Justin's spectacular Los Angeles wedding at the Skirball Cultural Center, coordinated by Linda Howard's Sensational Celebrations.
The bride's sleek Amsale bridal gown, the groom and his groomsmen's classic black tie tuxedos, and bridesmaids' soft pink Jim Hjelm dresses were timeless and classy.
Skirball Center (a favorite among many Los Angeles wedding photographers, Embrace Life Photography included) is a pretty modern styled wedding venue, with plenty of clean lines in concrete and stone, and so was the ceremony aisle decor, which included acrylic flower stands and gray flower boxes. Of course, the incredible flower arrangements and garden-inspired chuppah by The Hidden Garden provided a nice, contrasting softness and warmth.
Upon entering the Cotsen Auditorium (Ahmanson Ballroom) guests were treated to plenty of beautiful visuals including soft purple lighting tastefully accenting the room (The Lighter Side), a monogrammed white dance floor, textured silver linens (La Tavola Fine Linens / Party Designs by Dina) topped by tall glass centerpieces and floating candles, The Butter End's simple and beautiful cake which perfectly complimented the bride's dress, and plenty of other modern, creative touches (Luna Party Rentals). West Coast Music's Cowling Band provided the music that kept the party going.
