On a beautiful August night, Lily and Cyrus said their vows overlooking the WeHo skyline in Los Angeles. On the rooftop of The London West Hollywood, this beautiful night time ceremony took place. With the Rooftop West and Kensington Ballroom venues offered at the hotel, the 150 guests were able to relax and mingle comfortably. And as an added bonus, after drinks start flowing or a burst of energy is found, a poolside oversized chess board is waiting to be played.
Lily ad Cyrus did just that before the ceremony started. While wearing her beaded Stephen Yearick gown, and rhinestone Benjamin Adams London open-toed heels, the bride and her sharply dressed groom played a bit of chess before moving onto the reason they all gathered that day: to say "I do."
Our happy couple exchanged their rings under a traditional chuppah; thick with flowing fabric, and covered in an assortment of white roses and orchids from Butterfly Floral and Event Design. With a beautiful contrast, the bridesmaids donned hot pink Tadashi Shoji dresses, and cheetah print pumps. The ferocious colors didn’t stop there though. The mixture of pink and feline decorated various parts of the reception and ceremony: from bridesmaid’s bouquets, throw pillows, stationary ribbons, and was even spotted on a five tiered cake by Cake and Art.
Inside the modern Kensington Ballroom, pink lights, floral arrangements, and sparkles transformed this room into a real party. With large, crystal chandeliers hanging above, guests ate, mingled, and danced to 11H Entertainment, who kept energy, and spirits high all night. Inside this nightclub-esque reception hall, the finishing touches were added when confetti fell from the ceiling to signify the end of a marvelous evening.
